Elk River over Moorhead 4-2

Upset in 8AA, Elk River over Moorhead 4-2. ER vs Buffalo for the trip to the Big Dance. I th it this is the first time since 1996 that we haven’t had an 8AA final without either Roseau or Roseau.

I meant to say Moorhead and Roseau

I mean by the seeding sure, Moorhead really isn’t that good though.

Next year will be an interesting year for Moorhead. Will all the youth success start translating to the high school level? I don't think it's time to panic, but in my opinion their program is a little bit behind schedule.

True that, this is a pretty mild and not a terribly surprising result. But for those pining for an upset this year, it will have to do.
