That 3/6 match-up in AA could be something.

Oh darn. River Lakes' one opportunity hit the pipe. Otherwise not to sure on Dodge as the 1 seed.

Andover should be the favorite based on the two games I watched them play this year. HM would have been better served with Moorhead or Holy Family. Not so sure on these seedings.

Andover got too far behind for the comeback, but did like the splits on a couple plays by their goalie.
The mighty Farmington kinda hanging in there against Edina. No not really shots are 12-2, but if they can spring the speedy #27.

Be curious to know if Blake and Breck had to move up? While I probably think they're worse, if Warroad wins another that's a fourpeat so time to move up. Heck if they don't it's time to move up.

If Roseau can play AA, Warroad can too. Breck never moved up, Blake did and would have been quite successful had they not done so at the same time Sami started coaching at Edina. While ist not as bad as STA in the early 2010s (private school, MSHSL doesn't account for it being all-boys in its enrollment calculations), I think its worse than Hermantown and *everyone* complains about that.

Hermy cause the coach complained about STA than did it himself. I find if you abuse the system but zip it than it isn't quite as bad LOL. The Hermy coach was considered a funny and swell guy once. Now he's been.inducted into the Hall of Shame hahaha.

Was cheering for Edina but HM was the better team. Also good to see Dodge come through. It's always fun when a new school gets in because they bring the noise and excitment.

Yea, I could sense what was coming once Hill tied it, Edina had been on their heels the entire third period. They did a good job getting back on their horse after that, just couldn’t put one home. I suspect we’ll be seeing a lot of these two teams on Saturday night going forward. Both with a lot of young talent and maybe the two best girls coaching staffs in the state.

Just watched the full game replay. Was a much more interesting game then I thought at the time. Going in, Edina had won 6-3 and then 6-0 in the regular season. So I fully expected them to win pretty easy. But HM kept plugging away, scored some timely goals and seemed to have more gas by the end. Could really be the start of numerous titles in a row as HM only loses 4 players off this year's team. Excited to see them try and defense the title later this year.
