The two best teams so should be interesting. I believe Tonka won the regular season game 4-2.

The classic “styles make fights” matchup. High flying Moorhead against steady, grind it out Tonka. After watching both semis last night I do think both teams have the ability to be flexible with their styles. Tonka can go up-tempo when needed and Moorhead has no problem standing up to a physical, structured team. About as even as a state championship game gets, IMO. Slight edge to Moorhead.

Moorhead at their best is the best, so I suspect they win tonight. Will be fun to watch for sure.

Really hoping to see a game like we just watched. They both have work to do to duplicate that game.

To be fair, I'd be fine if Moorhead put Tonka on running time. But that's just me.

Dumb penalty early by Moorhead giving Tonka powerplay results in goal. Goals two and three for Tonka on Moorhead goalie. As good as Tonka is defensively, this one’s over early.

That penalty would be a little understandable in the last minute of a game down by 5 goals

Definitely not at the beginning of a 0-0 championship game

3-0 after one. I'd say this one's over, but not after last year and the Andover - Maple Grove final.

3-0, but definitely not over. The first Tonka goal was another lovely cross pass score in this tourney.

What a comeback for the Spuds. In my long high school memory, this is the biggest comeback in championship history. Before it was HM beating DE in 1991 twice having a two goal deficit. Spuds... Love it!

I didn’t care who won. I was bummed for 2 1/2 periods. The end of the 3rd and the OT’s more than made up for it.

Congrats to both teams for giving the fans that game.
