Fun weekend, but early as AAA teams go. Lots of incomplete teams, some never practised or very little. Still, some good hockey to watch.

Couple of players that impressed me in the U16's; Megan Gilbert (Andover) of the Icecats, great skater, speedy and aggressive. And Kayla Hendrickson
(Sartel/Sauk Rapids) of Schwanns U16, good skater, puck handler, good size and can score.

Some new/different groups - sometimes this is just for this tourney, other times this is where we get our first look at new/developing programs.

One program that I think is on the right track in many ways:
<a href="

I watched some U14, more U16....good hockey....good tournament. As someone mentioned in an earlier post...you can tell many of these girls haven't played together very long. Overall...lotsa talent.
