Yes hockeykid - They have to beat Rochester, good luck, for 3rd place in District 8 then whoever is 3rd place in D8 will have a playoff game withe 3rd place of D3 for the last slot in Region.

Dodge County picked the wrong night to not bring their A game and it cost them. They now have to beat Cottage Grove today at 2:30 and then play the winner of Roch. and Lakeville North (which will be Roch) for 3rd place IF they can get past CG.

Hendy - you guys better get a better attitude. Different team showed up there last night. Just tell your boys to have the attitude that you had when you came to Hudson.

You had a totally different demeaner.

Be the mean, physical DC not the "cake-eater" attitude you had last night.

I am rooting for you - BIG TIME - against CG. CG was the cheapest and have the worst attitudes in D8.

Go get them HENDY!

HockeyDad if us and Rochester were to meet up for 3rd place what kind of chances do you think we would have of beating them?

If You work hard and USE YOUR BODY A TON Hendy, you will have a better chance of winning, but it will be a very hard fought game.

Hendy - I think that you can play with anyone! The difference is that teams like Lakeville South, Rochester, Eagan, Edina, EP come to play every night.

I was so disappointed that your team showed up like they did last night.

Rochester really is playing great team hockey hendy. They are moving the puck so you better counter with a bunch of the same. Just dumping it in and using your size isn't going to win the game against Rochester. You will need to move the puck "tape-totape" and shoot shoot shoot on their goalie.

I really am rooting for you and your teammates. Tell them to get that chest out and chin up. Be proud and skate with an attitude. That's what got your team so far this year, get it back NOW! If you do, you will do just fine!

Dodge County beat CG 4-2 and Rochester beat Lakeville North 3-2 in triple overtime so it's Roch and Dodge County for 3rd place.

ALRIGHTY! GO Hendy GO!

Congrats but no time to celebrate Hendy, get your teammates FIRED up! It's ATTITUDE SUNDAY! If your boys bring the DC ATTITUDE - YOU WIN!

Good Luck.

Ryno and I are coming after his Hudson game.

No - we have had a thread on this issue already.

This is Ryno's first year in Hudson. It has frustrated both him and me that Hudson does not compete for MAHA or WAHA state championship. We are considered just a "guest" of District 8 and because we use MN ages, we are not eligible for WAHA state.

This is the first March Ryno will not be in a State Tournament going back to his Mite days, so that is why he and I attend the District; pland to attend Regions; and hopefully State in Duluth. At least to be around the atmoshpere.

He just has a game in the Cities at noon, so we are headed to Wakota afterwards.

Rochester 3
Dodge County 0 Rochester scored about 10 seconds into the game and Dodge County just hung their heads and didn't battle back. They didn't bring their A game in the most important game of the season and look what it got them.

Yes Hendy it is a bummer for you and your teammates. I sure wish you could have brought the "A" game.

Rochester is playing VERY well now.

I wouldn't be surprised if they end up going further than any other D8 team.

Anyway - telll your teammates GREAT SEASON from Ryno and his father. (Especially Sambo, since I went to college with her.)
