Does anybody think Justin Kloos of Lakeville South is the best first year player in the state and if not who is better than him? <img src=

Kloos is a nice first year PW, but there are many, many compriable players and a few who are better. You don't need to look far, just start in Lakeville as they also have another very good first year player in Alex Harvy.

P.S., I'm not from Lakeville .

lakeville is not a strong team ever since they split, and also, they have no good first years that are contending to be best in the state.

Is that why Lakeville South Peewee A is 2nd in the state? Are you telling me that isn't a strong team?

Every now and then you see some really stupid comment's on here. Lakeville So. PW program isn't a sound program? That would qualify as pretty stupid.

Are you kidding me "nipeshow17"? Lakeville South is a VERY good team. One that definitely deserves to be rated in the top 5 in the state.

My son's team played Lakeville South on Monday night. Did they run into a solid goalie and a team ready to play? Yes!

But they were so fun to watch. Solid offensively, they spent over 60% of the game in the Hudson's defensive zone; defensively, one word SMOOTH; goaltending, SOLID - and McNeely was not even in goal; coaching, a treat to see, watch and hear, I was in the penalty box next to the Lakeville bench. The coaches were so polished, they knew what buttons to push with each of the players and were tough when needed.

So whomever (nipeshow17) thinks that Lakeville-South is not a top 5 team in Minnesota, I laugh at you!

Maybe before you speak - go and watch them.

What is their record now? I still wonder why they split their association...

A.J. Reid is a stud!<img src=

HockeyDad9, I play for Dodge County, we played Hudson on Sunday, and I was just wondering after seeing both teams play who do you think would win if these teams ran into each other in districts and why?

I will tell you this much "hendy' - If your team, Dodge County and Lakeville South meet in Districts, Ryno and I will not miss the game.

I think that both teams are solid.

Lakeville may have a few more "athletes". That is not said to take ANYTHING away from your team Hendy. Just think of the pool they have to pull from.

As with most tournament play, it will come down to HOT goaltending and defense. Throw a little coaching into that and there you will find the winner.

I know that Ryno would have loved to been on the winning side of both of the games against your team and against Lakeville, but better TEAMS prevail.

Good Luck in Districts.

We both wish you the best.

Well said hockeydad9, should be a good game if we meet up. I know what you mean about them having more athletes thingy they are built for speed. When we played them early this year they had the advantage on us because they have that big sheet of ice in Lakeville and I think if we played them on a regular sheet of ice and were able to take the body more we would have a better shot at them. But yes if we meet up it should be a very good game.

Hey joshdog - It was an adjustment for Ryno. Going from the team we had in Somerset to his new team in Hudson, but he had fun and the hudson team had a very nice season. Won the Austin tournament, 2nd place in the Sun Prairie, WI, and respectable in a few others.

Ryno is looking forward to the summer AAA season.

How about Eric?
