Elk River??? are you kidding - how about Princeton or Pine City (although they have no A teams)... Centennial or Blaine are the only two with a legit chance at the state title.

Are we talking regular season or playoff champions? Centennial is a bit far from winning the D-10 regular season title, but will have a great shot at winning the D-10 playoffs. Princeton looks like they have the regular season all but wrapped up with their remaining schedule and Pine City is on their heels. Those two will be interesting in the playoffs.

Could be mankato purple. Lavurne is good but only have like 8 or 9 skaters. They have one kid who is dominant. Nobody knows who he is probably but he is very good. #2 paquette or something vvery solid.

Edina Green cannot win D6. Edina White is in first now. Ep is 2 points out with 3 games. Even if they choke all three games (againts the bottom three teams) they will still win the league if they recieve their fair play points.

MnHckyScout:

My post was for playoffs. I think the Edina Green tm is stronger than White. Their top line is excellent and they are bigger on the blue line

Well last time the edina teams played edina white won. Edina greens first line is good but there problem is that there goalies are very weak.

Edina white clinched 2nd in districts so Ep and Edina W have buys first round. Edina Green must win tonight (tuesday) and tomororw night and get all their fair play points to get 3rd over waconia, they play jefferson and burnsville and shouldnt have a problem winning but they could loose a fair play point.

Edina White ends up 2nd because they got more fair play points than Green.

Green is more physical than White and fair play points are out the window now that playoffs are coming up.

Green has lost in OT twice to EP and they will be on that side of the bracket.

I think since Green finished 3rd they are on the White side of the bracket. Play-in winner plays 4th (Waconia) winner plays EP. 3rd (Green) plays 5th (Prior Lake), winner plays White.

I think your correct, except the 5th place team isn't set yet. Chaska with a win and HEP point could be 5th, and if Jefferson can win 2 and keep HEP, they can finish 5th.

It looks as though there will probably be another edina green vs edina white game in playoffs if edina green wins. Should be a tight game like usual.

Edina White did get all their hep points which helped them place 2nd in districs. thats because they dont get stupid checking from behind penalties in D6. Glowsick1 is right they beat edina green but it was well played, edina green also lost there HEP point.

Nice try sniper. They do, in fact, take check from behind penalties. I know they took one against Holy Family - however, they only had one other penalty the entire game and therefore kept their point. They also had at least one game where they had exactly 7 minor penalties. Close to losing it, but close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and atomic bombs.

Not exactly angels, but I will be the first to admit they should be congratulated for their play in keeping all their HEP points.

If Edina White plays Green should be a good game. I think someone mentioned Green's goaltending is worse than Whites, but on the D6 website, it looks like Green has a lower goals against White.
