List your all state team, for both 2nd year and first year Bantam A's. The team should have 3 forwards, 2 defencemen, and 2 goalies.

Owen Collette (WBL) would easily be on the list of goalies.

Does WBL have a goalie by the name of Kurt Altricher?

I think GC could answer this question for you as he is pretty undeceiving considering all of his comments so far are about WBL or Collete. But, I'll not make you wait. Kirk Altricher is on the B1 team.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... LIGHT39 at: 2/7/06 3:44 pm

Kray-Fink-Gaarder

Strade-Putney

Kray-One of fastest, smartest hockey players in Minnesota. Great hands and shot to go with it. Not to mention a ton of stregnth. He is not afraid to hit.
Fink-Do I need to even talk about this one? He's got the whole package.
Gaarder-After watching Edina play, he leads Everson and Buddish. Everson floats in the neutral zone, Buddish and Gaarder are the work horses from what I saw. Gaarder is just better.
Strade-If you dont know this kid, he is from Wayzeta. He is one of the best defenesmen for his age in Minnesota. He has size, speed, hands, and is smart. He carrys his Wazyeta team.
Putney-Just a solid player, only seen him play once. He has the whole package.

I've watched Strade play two games against a decent Kato team and while he seems to have all the tools, he did not stand out like I thought he would. I had heard a lot of good things about the kid before I watched him play and he just did not seem to impress me as an "elite" player. You guys have probably seen him a lot more than me, but those were my impressions.

Im with you on that one bugsy. He is very good. Definitely the best player Wayzata has, but he isnt a super star by any means. He will score his fair share of goals and is one of the top defensemen in the state. But he isn't a player that will stand out as amazing, he is just very, very solid. I wouldnt put him as one of the top 2 in the state. Maybe top 10.

With the size and skills that he has, I think if he keeps on developing he will be a very good HS player.

When we played Wayzata none of the kids on that team stuck out to me. I would think if he was that good he would at least stick out, but i wouldnt have even known who he was if it wasnt for these posts. I didnt think there was anyone on Wazata that was an all-star. Maybe he was sick, who knows.

I've seen Strade play many, many times. He's far from an elite player. He's above average that that's about it.

The kid from Blaine, #18, is not as dominate as Kray, Fink, and Gaarder. He is a very very good player though.

Fink and Turak r tops on my list. The Edina players all look good cuz they r stacked. Makes you c false talent. Turak plays on a team w/o a supporting cast and he still dominates. Fink is just a flat out beast. Dirtmcgurt is a flamer, stop talkin about how much you love Edina. It sickens me.
