I predict AHA to upset Centinnel, because centinnel has been slacking recently by letting Tri city score two goals in sections and letting hill murray keep them under 4 goals.
I also think whoever wins outta of that game to be upset by wayzata.

my upset

I think that my upset is gonna have to be lakeville over morrhead, i think lakeville is super under rated and they have the best goalie in the state.

Its hard for me to pick one, because I think there could be a lot of upsets.

Check out my picks for the contest.

I think Albert Lea could have what it takes to knock Breck off.

I think Tartan will be able to beat Wayzata

I'm thinking Elk River may pull it out over Moorhead

Also I believe Orono may pull the shocker and upset Warroad.
Puckster

www.wildpuck.com

Holy Angels will not upset Centennial. Centennial is a much better team. When they need to get it done they will. Wayzata will give Centennial a close game in the semis but the Cougars will prevail. Lakeville does not stand a chance against Moorhead. They will beat Duluth East and will not get past Moorhead. Look for the Cougars and the Spuds in the final.

Puckster is crazy

Tartan doesnt even deserve to be in the tournament. They are lucky they moved sections or they never would make it to a state tourney. Wayzata should beat them by 5 or 6 goals.

No Upsets.

Centennial and Wayzata post first round wins.
Wayzata is Peaking at the right time. They have played great hockey lately, and will continue thru the Tournament. Wayzata 4, Centennial 3.
Moorhead comes out of the bottom bracket by default.

Championship goes to Wayzata 5-2.

No upsets in St. Paul, Best team wins.

Tenders-

Are you saying that Lakeville will beat Duluth East AND Moorhead??? Cuz if they play it wont be until the second round...

I don't think Lakeville will beat Moorhead (if they even play) but I do think they will win a game this year, I'm predicting over Elk River in the consalation round or if their goalie stands on his head maybe the first round over Duluth East.

ORONO

I BEILIEVE THAT ORNO MAY HAVE A CHANCE TO BEAT WARROAD WITH A TRANSFER FROM EDINA, GLENN YILATALO WILL DOMINATE THIS GAME WITH HIS TEAM.

<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin"> 13 year old high school hockey genius<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

i think AHA can pull it off becuz no one thought the hill murray -centinnel game was gonna be one goal marginal victory and Gorowsky is having spleen problems becuz he pulled a muscle in his stomach that will never fully heal so he might not be going 100%, i know this becuz i live by some of their varsity players. I would also like to say I am looking forward to Dominick Barber for Wayzata who is going to the gophers for football and he is 6ft 230 so i am lookin forward to him throwing around his weight.

I think AHA can pull off an upset, becuz no one thought the hill centinnel game was gonna be a one goal victory and Gorowsky is having spleen problems becuase he pulled a muscle in his stomach earlier in the year and it will never fully heal, i know this becuz i live by some cent varsity players. and if you noticed in the hill murray game in the 3rd he got slashed there and bent over in pain and skated to the bench so he might not be going 100%. I also think Wayzata will upset the winner of this game and personnally i am looking forward to seeing future gopher football player Dominick Barber throwing his 230Lbs. around on the ice.

thats what the gophers have him listed at for incoming freshman maybe they are over estimating him to show he is big to other colleges

Barber

Probably, they use to have him listed at 195 on Rivals.com

Dom Barber

by Statechamps09
Dom is not close to 230.....I would say 195 is pretty optimistic also, i would guess that he is somewhere around 180-185.

I believe it is spelled Dominique

Wayzata

I think the upset happens again at the early semifinal, just like the past two years. Wayzata is gonna take it to Centennial, and has a solid chance of winning it all.

I think orano has a good chance at beating warroad and I also think that holy angels has a good chance at upsetting centennial.

Centennial has proven to be very good over the course of the season and sections. They are 5-0 vs. the field which is very impressive. With all that said I don't think AHA, Wayzata, or Moorhead winning the title instead of Centennial would be considered an upset of large proportions. If it were a best of seven series then I would say yes, but in one game or tourney anything can happen.

O'Brien, I would not look past East if I were you and calling for a upset against Moorhead. Get Real

I would have to say WDC over SSP....But that wouldn't be a upset would it?

yes it would

i'd consider wdc over ssp and upset

Sorry big guy but whatever puckster's on is only legal in Amsterdam. Tartan over Wayzata?

I thought AHA was the pick but Cent had their scare game against Hill and will come ready to play. Upset potentials in AA are ER (the AA team everyone is looking past) over Moor, Lake over East (if that's an upset) and Wayzata over Cent.

Only legitimate 'upset' challenge in A is Orono over Warroad, all the rest are non-factor games. This is a 3-team race.

Hope I'm wrong and someone mixes in a miracle game that turns the place on its ear - prob'ly not.
