AL vs Warroad in Consolation Championship

Post by mnhockey77 »

Congrats to Albert Lea for putting Wadena away 3-0 today. Albert Lea will need to work hard and play a tough Warroad team that is shocked to be in this bracket in the first place after losing to Orono in a huge upset. Warroad will be looking to take this game easily, although if Albert Lea plays like the first period and a half of the Breck game and their young goalie plays like he did today in the Wadena game, this game could be closer then many think. Albert lea will need to keep their heads up and their defense will need to protect their goalie more than they have been. Warroad will not be easy but I think that it will be a good game. Good luck to both teams. What does everyone think?

Point to Prove

Warroad now has to prove itself so this game won't be close, I'm takeing Warroad the same as the Breck score 10-1

8-2 Warroad

AL will be a little on the awestruck side when the step on the ice against Warroad. It will takes it's toll fast. Then Warroad will wear down the 2 lines that AL plays and put in a few more toward the end of the 2nd. The 3rd period both teams will roll all their lines so everyone has a chance to play a bit in the state tourney. When this happens Warroad will get a few more and AL will get the top line against one of Warroads lower lines and pop a couple in too.

Players:
Remember this time, these games, play hard, and HAVE FUN!!!

Awe of Warroad? AL just played Breck, so they have seen what the top teams are like so I doubt they'll be in awe. Neither team is deep, but Warroad will benefit more from the day off

Still.....6-1 Warroad

None of the consolation games are televised. Neither are the 3rd place games.
Scheids
(A legend in his girlfriend's mind.)
