Can you explain the great 8 to me? How are they picked and when and where do they play? Sorry I can't help you but maybe you can enlighten me. Thanks. <p></p><i></i>

Great 8 are picked by HS coaches within each section group (ie. section 8A & 8AA).<br>I don't think they vote until next Wednesday ???<br>Results realesed after tournament <p></p><i></i>

Any rules apply? Do they actually play or what? Need more info. For Juniors, Seniors, players per team? Sorry IDKS. Help!!!!!! <p></p><i></i>

The teams are for Seniors only. They do play,It is a tourny, it is just like the Select Program. 20 on the team and like 2 replacements. <p></p><i></i>

Committments are only conidered when selecting the 20 kids from the G8 that go on to the Chicago Showcase. <p></p><i></i>

Some players but not all have been notified. The tourney is at Wakota Arena March 26-28. It features the top seniors from each section as choosen by the head coaches. Minnesota Hockey's website will have all the rosters and information when it is released at

Last year, the final rosters were floating around at the coaches meeting on Saturday morning at the State Tourney. They were posted on the Minnesota Hockey website the Monday or Tuesday following the tourney. I'm guessing that's the same schedule we'll see this year. <p></p><i>Edited by: <A HREF=

Also if it is like last year, the sections are not ALL aligned 8A-8AA. Last year it was 2A and 3AA and 3A and 2AA. I would assume it would be the same this year. <p>Good Teams Would be Nothin without Good Water.....</p><i></i>
