I don't see Edina really going anywhere next year. They lost most of there top players and now Ryan Thang is going to juniors. They will not be that good. Here is a list of their returning players in order of points.
1.Will Collins-25pts
2.Joe Finley-8 pts
3.T.J Ridley-6pts
T4.Zach Nelson-4pts
T4.Jorgenson-4pts

SSP goalie would 2nd on this list.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin"> . Then Edina has both of their goalies graduating this year also.

Next years top teams will be Moorhead, Wayzata, Centennial, and Eden Prairie.

jr's list looks about right,if everybody stays ,which probably wont happen because the grass is allways greener ........a buddy of mine had a kid on ER A bantams and i guess the split with Rogers hit em pretty hard at that level.I watched them play twice this year and they had 3 guys that looked real good #9-#17 and #18 , but the rest looked like typical grab yer lunch bucket and work yer butt off ER kids, just what Sars likes. And like Blackhawk said their Jv team was real good , so they will defineatly be in the mix for the next couple years. As far as my "new team" Rogers, they will win twice as many games next year...i still gotta cheer for the elks.....

How can you say moorhead would be number 4 and might make a run? They only lose 8 seniors only 6 of which played. Moorheads going all the way next year.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... esrober at: 3/18/04 7:00 pm

Top ten AA next year

SHP55 - You are one of the few that don't think AHA will be in the top 3 or 4 AA teams next year. You're right, they do lose a couple great defensivemen in Hillen and possibly Johnson, but they will retain Hummel, Krempa and Cooper who all saw a lot of ice this year. On the forward side, they return a TON of talent, with 4 of their top 6 scorers (in terms of goals and overall points). Plus, their first line has the makings to be the fastest in the state with a lot of scoring capabilities (combining for for almost 150 points this past year). They will be joined by 5 add'l forwards who have seen a substantial amount of 'varsity' ice this past season. That gives you almost three full lines with Varsity experience; you don't see that too often! And, the goalie situation that everyone else loved to make such a big deal about this year will be VERY solid with three returning varsity level net-minders. Given all this, I think this team will be one of the top ones to watch for next year (even though that's a long way off). Otherwise I tend to agree with most of the picks (Centennial, Moorhead, EP, Wayzata, Duluth Eats, etc..). Going to be another great year of hockey ahead. Only 7 months and 7 days left to go till 2004/2005 season starts (or thereabouts!)!

Hill shouldn't be too bad next year. The defense are returning which is nice, now the goalies need to come on track. Fangel was a great senior goalie who played every game, so now its up to Scott and I Dawson, a good J.V. goalie. I think they should be just fine.
