I know this is kind of a boring topic. But as I was looking through the MSHSL website, I found out that the only two teams that didnt receive the sportsmanship award were Breck and Duluth East. My only question is, how do you not win the sportsmanship award?

wrong!

well... My guess is take breck for example. They have a kid who racked up 100 points in the season and he acted like he had never scored a goal before. The Fultons were the worst at it, especially when their team was up 6-1 or more. That is poor sportsmanship.

Stop complaining

Man why are you complaining about Wheeler form Breck. Hes good and can be cocky. I bet you wish to just make the varsity team yet alone score 100 points. Kids like me and him have to flaunt our talent for the D1 scouts.

That has gotto be about the stupidest thing I have ever seen. "We have to flaunt our skills to the d1 scouts?" I'd be willing to bet scouts are looking for more than just scoring skils, they probably look for good attitudes, not just people who are stuck on themselves.

Looks like your good attitudes didnt get you to far in the state tourny. You could of used high caliber danglers like me and wheeler. Talent like this dont come around to often. Better luck next year!

I doubt college scouts are looking for moronic, hip-shaking goal celebrations. They probably spend more time looking for skating ability, strength, rink awareness and size.

As for talent like yours and Wheelers, unless your #8, don't flatter yourself. He (I think it's Dee) and Wheeler were the only ones who really stood out. The rest of the team was good, but nothing special.

BTW, if you do go to Breck, your parents are spending a lot of money on your education. The least you could do is learn how to form a complete sentence without butchering the English language.

Yeah your right. The newpapers talk about me enough. I dont need to waste my time on people the dont match me or my teams talent.

dog36,
I would respectfully disagree with your assessment of the rest of Breck's players.

Dustin Fulton has the nicest hands I saw this year and was a huge contributer to this team. He has good size and anticipates the game very well. I was surprised that he didn't make the all Tourney team.

Birkhotz will have his choice of D3 schools to play at. Great two way heads up player with speed.

Jordon Fulton very complete player that will only get better with experience.

As for Grunt24, I think he's just pulling your chain and I doubt he plays for Breck. He is right about one thing. If you are from an outstate school and feel you are being overlooked, the tournament is the place to showcase your talent and get noticed. - Not with your celebratory antics though.

Edited by: <A HREF=

I agree that the older Fulton and Birkholz(sp) are D3 players. What I meant was that Wheeler and Dee were the only ones who had talent over and above that of the other teams.

Grunt,

If you guys have talent so far and above everyone else, then gets some seeds and move up to AA. Holy Angels, Hill and Cretin all do it. So do Roseau and Greenway. I have no problem with the A tourney, but don't come on here and act like your something we've never seen before. We see teams better than yours every year, IN THE REAL STATE TOURNAMENT.

Celebrating?

Now off the subject of Grunt for a little bit...
Here is a quote from NUEagles:

"They have a kid who racked up 100 points in the season and he acted like he had never scored a goal before. The Fultons were the worst at it, especially when their team was up 6-1 or more. That is poor sportsmanship."

I can't believe you are criticizing kids for celebrating after scoring in the STATE TOURNAMENT. How many points Wheeler had in the season is regardless. This is what kids dream of when they are little. At least let the kids enjoy it.

Everyone loves to hate Breck, especially Warroadsalt.
