Breck has to go with the back up, looks like soild numbers for him this season but has he been tested yet? Can AL be the team to upset them now? I don't think it will happen, looking for a 4-2 Breck win!

nice initiative

subject says it all. It's go time. Also, Breck is playing Haller, because Richards has a double ear infection.

back-up

Brecks starter has a double ear infection according to the TV guys. The back-up is 10-0 with 1.44 gaa and .920 save % (not too shabby). The Albert Lea goalie is a freshman who is 5-0 with a 2.50 gaa and .870 save %. So Brecks back-up still looks better than ALs starter. Also I dont think AL will be able to play with Breck since they only play 2 lines. I think it could be close but in the 3rd Breck should pull away.

Brecks Alex Simcox scored 4 min and 30 seconds in on a trickling rebound. Breck leads 1-0.

Breck needs to take care of their zone....

Wheelin'

How's Wheeler looking, I'd love to be there to see how #17 gets all his accolades! I hear it's a combo of his size (6'4), skill, and uncommon patience that have him so highly touted. How's he skating today?

huge saves for casanova of albert lea

Breck needs to get some colored socks. What's with all white? Put some stripes on them at least. <img src=

End of 1st.... Breck-1 Albert Lea-0
shots... Breck-9 Albert Lea-8
Most of the play has been down in the Breck zone but AL has has some good scoring chances. Both goalies have sorta looked shaky, not knowing where the puck is when it hits them or when its under them. I am also not impressed with Wheeler. He looks very lazy or like he doesnt even care. That or he is just slow.

1 - 0 after thw first. Breck has been in control, with casanova making some big saves. AL has been getting a lot of rushes, and had a few great chances in the last couple of minutes of the period.

-Farley
