agreed they were overrated this year....I called the first round exit earlier this year. This team will not do anything again next year. Just complain about their goalie. Unless they get Wood from Tartan but heard he was going Juniors. Maybe they could actually win their pathetic confrence next year. MAYBE??? Watch out for a young STA CLASS A TEAM to steal the title next year. I sure hope not you Hill-Murray people wont be able to take a another year like this one.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... 33Three at: 3/7/05 8:13 pm

Think what you want everyone, it's your opinion and I respect that. Hill should have a very strong club returning next year. They lose only 6 seniors this year, 4 in which played. It'll be a different season next year for the Pioneers.....Good luck to them.

i disagree with both of you, i think hill will be a solid team next year, losing only 4 seniors that actually played. There only problem will be the goalie situation, but it will be better then this year with whoever playing goalie having experience at the Varsity level

DB33, Hill is going to have a very solid club returning next year. This year was tough, yes we see that. But losing only those few seniors, they will return lots of talent.

4 Defensemen
8 Forwards
Goaltendor Joey Phillippi

Some key players:
Derek McCallum, Defensemen, 27 points.
Mac Garceau, defensemen, very strong, smart "D".
Billy Leier, 14 points.

Mike Hoeffel (sophomore), 24 goals, 44 points.
Brian Arrigoni, 17 goals, 34 points.
Bryant Skarda, 25 points.
Nick Larson (sophomore), 21 points.
Joey McEnaney, 15 points.

Good luck to the Pioneers next season.

with or without Wood, HM will be a strong team again.
not to mention we have 3 extremely dedicated captains who are very hard workers. the best part is, next year's seniors are like that. even the couple who arent official captains.
02 wasnt the most talented team HM has ever seen, but they had great captains and look what happened with that team.
state 2nd place...not bad for a team that people didnt even expect to make it to state.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... lhockey at: 3/7/05 9:43 pm

Hill has a great deal of talent coming back I will give them that. Their defenseman will not be as strong as they were this year which could mean that there are more shots coming the goaltenders way. I highly doubt that Wood will be coming to Hill. Unless he comes I suggest that people stop throwing things out there. The forwards will be the strength of the team. There should be no problems scoring. Again next year it will come down to goaltending.

Phillippi needs to get bigger, stronger, faster for this team to be a legit contender. Until Hill has proven the have a solid consistent goalie I will not be able to label this team as a top team or where they ended up this year. Its just too hard to gage where this team will be at come next year. Give it some time and see where they are at come next fall.
