Virginia wins! It should be a good game, not a blowout at all, but Virginia will just be too good for STA. <p></p><i></i>

In my predictions for state i said STA wins this one. But I think It'll be an overtime game, and too tough to call. We'll see. <p></p><i></i>

STA is worse than hibbing, and if i recall, didnt greenway beat them in the reg season? not sure but i thought i heard that somewhere. The game against Greenway should be wiped from the books..... STA didnt have any legs for one, they got off the bus and played the game, but im not gonna go there. the reason it shouldnt count is because Greenway's refs were the worst of any game this year, making terrible call after terrible call in the 3rd period to help Greenway get back into it. Wanna see proof of what happens with no favortism of northern referees.... look at when the two teams played in the Schwan's Cup bronze division, STA killed em. So no more talk about the Greenway game, complete fluke and terrible reffing. And for this game against Virginia, just remember that this is a huge ice surface and STA has more speed than the bigger, stronger Virginia team. I think this is gonna be a 1 goal game folks....with STA coming out with the win cause of their overall depth and speed. (and Cameron Voss in net) <p></p><i></i>

how can you say that virginia is a bigger and stronger team. they have niskanen strong and big, nico strong, and grueser strong. lots of small kids, i think virginia is pretty fast. if you wanted to see a strong team, look at what virginia had last year, last year strength, and no speed. i think its the opposite this year. STA will take this one in a nail biter. with them getting Konokie back they have a great team and will take it 3-2 <p></p><i></i>

If St. Thomas is going to win this game, they will have to hold Virginia to 2 goals or less because Virginia will score at least 3 with the skilled offensive players they have. I don't see that happening though because Virginia has a very good defense and much more offensive talent. I beleive that the Cadet's leading scorer is an 8th grader... that will tell you all you need to know about their offense.<br><br>Virginia wins 5-2, if not more. <p></p><i></i>

I wouldn't be to quick to rule out STA in their game against Virginia. Looking at the Virginia schedule it appears as if they have not played a lot of good teams this year. <br><br>Unless Virginia is greatly improved from last year I can see them playing in the Mariucci come Thursday.<br><br> <p>SectionFan</p><i></i>

Where the hell have you been, the BLue Devils are 5x the team they had last year. Tied Hibbing the in reg season and beat them 5-3 in the finals, beat lake of the woods, beat hermantown, beat silver bay twice, they might not have had a superhard schedule, but they tied or won the games with the better teams. THey must not be good, they are only going to the state tournament. Virginia beats STA by a handful. They can upset Warroad. BUt it will be an overall very good game if they play them. Best team Virginia has had in a long time. Virginia has great depth this year, they skated 4 lines against hibbing. and played 5 D <p></p><i></i>
