you guys are a bunch of bull, why would someone on the hill team want to go to STA that plays single A and has an 8th grader as their best player on the team...

waht about other players?

Leier is the captain next year, he for sure isnt goin anywhere, as far as Skarda goes, i doubt he's goin anywhere

The Vannelli's are certainly a good group of coaches who could help many kids with not only their hockey career but make them a better person. I am sure STA would not mine having Arrigoni. From a few Hill-Murray games i saw this year, he was the only one to always have his motor going. HM will have a tough time going to state in their current section, maybe kids are realizing it?

Let me clear this up---Not one Hill player is leaving. I would really like to know how these rumors started too.... makes no sense to me.

I get a kick out of the St Thomas talk. This is still the team that got beat by HM in a "down year" & finished behind them in the standings. Also a team that opts to remain in Class A. It's like comparing apples to hockey pucks.

8th grader

I've seen the 8th grader from STA play and if it wasn't for his small stature you wouldnt know hes in 8th grade. He could skate circles around most of the upper classmen at Hill or any other school. The kid had 30 pts, im sure he'd bee a stand out player any where including hill. and P.S. STA got to the tourney and hill didnt.... <img src=

STA played in the JV Torunament...get some guts and play with the big boys. Better yet, try & beat Hill once...it hasn't happened. The little 8th grader did have a nice season, yet wasn't able to beta the Pioneers...why?

STA

The thing you have to realize is that STA has rose up from a 2-20 season only two years ago. Nolook, you talk as if HM plastered STA. This was definitely not the case. What were the scores,6-4 and 3-2? I think STA never scored a goal against HM in since the eighties until last year. It is hard to realize with such a big head that the times are changing and STA is going to be good. JV tournament? I think you should go say that to a few Warroad players. The turn around at STA has been great, but I bet they are not satisfied with the 18-12 season. Maybe they will be AA in a few years if they continue with the success.

Hill /STA

STA is single A and the should be, they are half the size of Hill and not a "powerhouse" like hill is know for. (that will change in the next couple of years.) Im pretty sure st. thomas beat tartan and hill got swept... if your trying to diss single A schools then why is it thatteams like Warroad and Breack have been dominationg highschool hockey for the past couple of years?

I know from all your post Hillfan you think you are clever but,
MSHSL doubles STA's enrollment because they have no females. Just wanted to clear that up for you

ok ya i jsut wanted to clear it up,

i wouldnt think that scarda would transfer again, considering its his second transfer, (mahtomedi - hill) he would just screw himself over and have to sit out half the year.

JV games are played before the varsity games & ususally draw a much smaller crowd. The High School Hockey Tournament is the same. STA people need to beat a team before it takes a shot at them. Beat HM then talk some stuff. Until then, you have no credability.

Edited by: <A HREF=
