puckster, I think there might be seven actually, because Singer plays for SCSU also.
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Missed Singer, wow 7 in just one D1 league, not to mention all their players committed for next year and ones playing out east. None of the guys I listed before are seniors, next year they'll have even more, what a program.

Howells is at Michigan State and doing pretty well this year! Also, I believe Huck is doing well in the NAHL and has a very good chance at playing D1. Taylor is at Harvard and Eddie (sp?)(goaltender) just graduated from Quinnipiac I think. There will be more with Hummel, Bariball, and Matson too in the next 2 or 3 years.
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Kodiak do you know if Kevin Krompitich (sp?), Connor Phippen, or Ben Luth are still playing hockey? They were good players at AHA, maybe not D1, but I figured they'd still be playing somewhere but havent heard where?

Nick Ames is playing in the MNJHL, i'm not sure what team. I'm sure he will be a solid D3 player next year. He had good skills but avoided physical play a lot.

Krumpy could have played D1 hockey, but he is an even better soccer player and is playing D1 soccer at navy or air force. I'm not sure which school, but I think it is one of those military schools. Not positive though.

Phippen was playing at St. Thomas the last time I checked with Rollwagen.

Luth isn't playing hockey right now, but I think he is attending Mankota.

Ames was at St. Olaf for awhile, not sure what he is doing now but I don't think he is still there, not sure though.

I forgot to mention Frazze going to the gophs next year and Erik Johnson going there in two years, I think. I also believe Carman is going there too.

Wow, every time I post I think of more AHA players going on to play D1 or at a good D3 school.

I'm sure Zamman or Cliff77 can think of some more. Same with Slapshotbg and Starsalum. Any help on reassuring what I said above would be great. Thanks.
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

So now that we have determined that AHA is always stacked with talent. Anyone else know the numbers for other high schools?

Did any of those guys play at Fairbult HS? How many of them were born and raised in Fairbult? I think Parise's were raised in Bloomington but i'm not totally sure. Just curious, I dont know anything about that town or its youth program.

I believe krmpotich is at Navy, my next door neighbor plays hockey for them and I THINK that he was playing hockey and then quit to play soccer.
________________________________________________________________

Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right

Hartman is the only one I know of that played for Faribault H.S.. The others have their home towns listed as Faribault, but it's a half tounge in cheek thing....like AHA claiming kids that live in Lakeville.

Off topic but was Hirsch a Jefferson kid at one point too? And were the Eaves boys always from Fairbult?

Not even remotely close to AHA numbers, but Fergus Falls has three D1 players.

Josh Anderson just finished a great senior year as the captain of the St. Lawerence Hockey team.

Kevin Ackley redshirted this year for St. Lawerence. He will be back next year, most likely as their starting goalie.

Ryan Miller is it Bemidji State, which will be in the NCAA tourney this year.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll see another Fergus player on any D1 schools any time soon, with the exception of Dowzak, who defected to Shattuck.
Scheids
(A legend in his girlfriend's mind.)
