I think there are a few Minnesotans that have a shot. Blake Wheeler, R.J. Anderson, Gino Guyer could develop into a solid 3rd line center, Johnny Pohl, Brian Lee, A.J. Thelen, Matt Niskanen... I don't know. A lot of MN players have a good shot. And a lot of it depends on which team they're on and if there is a spot for them.

Speaking of which... is Pohl still in the Blues system, or was he traded?

There are two Boston College players from MN that are doing really well. Andrew Alberts (bruins draft pick) and Patrick Eaves. I think both have a good shot at the NHL.
<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

peter mueller will make it, he already verbally committed to play with the gophers in 2007 when he graduates, and he can only go up from there.

Thelen was dismissed from Michigan State. You would think he will still get a shot with the Wild though.

Thelen

Thelen got dismissed from his team on Sunday. there has been no reason for the dismissal in the newspapers. does anyone think any other colleges would except him if he wants to transfer?

Keith Ballard

Keith Ballard of Lake of the Woods he is playing in Utah right now and has already been traded twice from Buffalo to Colorado then from Colorado to Phoneix he will be a huge player in the NHL no doubts about it.

Ryan Stoa is ranked #11 in the north american skaters...ahead of lee, rau, and many other minnesotans

Thelen

go to USCHO.com, they have an article about the reason behind Thelen's dismissal. It has to do with drinking the night before a game, something to that affect.

Marty Sertich is the leading scorer in the nation right now, he has a good shot at going pro (Roseville native, even though he was born in Colorado Springs).
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

Sertich is pretty small though. He always had the skill, but size will be an issue.
