i just saw on espn that the college hockey championship was gonna be on on ESPNU which as far as i know is only available on satellite or if u special order...does anyone else know about this? is the championship game not going to be on regular espn like last year? <p></p><i></i>

The frozen four will still be on ESPN2 and ESPN. I believe the regionals are slated for ESPNU, but not this year. The NCAA Final is on ESPN. The semis will be on ESPN 2. The regionals (3/25-3/27) will be on ESPNU. Fox Sports Net has reached a carrier agreement with ESPNU to broadcast as many of the games as possible. The problem is that FSN already has some prior commitments.<br><br>For example, if the Gophers play in the regional final on 3/27 the game starts at 2:30 PM. However, Fox Sports North is broadcasting the T'Wolves/Clippers game at that time; therefore the Gopher game wouldn't be live. There are also some Twins pre-season games that may conflict with potential NCAA regional broadcasts.<br><br>In my opinion, the safest bets are: if you have DirecTV, subscribe to the "Sports Pack" on the morning of 3/25, and drop it the following Monday (3/2<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START 8) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... lasses.gif ALT="8)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> . You'll be billed on pro-rated basis, probably around $1.60.
