anyone know how try outs went this weekend? and any predictions on the teams? <p></p><i></i>

Does anyone know if Fairchild and Ellingson were there or were they at the Ann Arbor tryout. <p></p><i></i>

Only true ann arbor word I have is that White from Grand Rapids went to ann arbor. I have heard that both Ellingson and Fairchild went as well, but not from a super reliable source. <p><br><br>_________________<br><br>BOB</p><i></i>

If you make the team without a tryout,whats the sense in any of the other players hoping to make the team even trying out? no zorba, your right, it costs $60/person to try out for this team and if there is someone who made it without going to the tryout .......well then thats just BULL SHIRT it's just a game of politics!! like it's always been and always will be!! <p></p><i></i>

Select 16 & 17 (& 15 to a lesser extent) are USA Hockey programs. They can slip kids around anywhere they want and put in who they want. If a kid is good enough (in their opinion) to tryout at Ann Arbor, then they are on the Select Team from the Section or from Minnkota District. That means there are less spots aailable for the kids trying out. And every knows (most often) that some kids are going to make it jsut based on what they have already accomplished. so that makes even less spots available. <br><br>So would you tell your kid (or if it was YOU) not to go?<br><br>Not if you have your wits about you. Kid gives it his best shot and maybe....... plus he gets to skate with a bunch of other good players. If nothing else it should be a learning experience. <p></p><i></i>
