Looks like the Gophers should start recruiting from Section 8 again, the recruits on the team this year from Section 7 are not living up to billing and look what is happening to our Gophers. Let's get Northwest Minnesota represented on our team again, instead of from Lucia's backyard. <p></p><i></i>

what are you talking about? There are only two freshmen on the gophers this year from section 7a. They are doing just as well as any other freshman on the team so lay off them. plus they are not the sole reason for the recent downfall of the gophs. That is an issue the whole team has to resolve not just the couple players from 7a. i hope they pull it together for the tournys when it counts. <p></p><i></i>

I'm am a bigger UND fan but I got to say Minnesota is loaded, they have some more offensive fire power comming next season. They will be fine, its a young team got to give them alittle time to gel together as a team <p></p><i></i>

The Gophers will be fine. Wheeler and company are coming in as someone stated before. With a decent finish they are still in a decent position for a 1 seed in the tourney as well. Another player that may come in next year is Phil Kessell, who will most likely be the # 1 player in the '06 draft and is the most highly touted recruit since Zach Parise. Lucia is doing fine with recruiting and with this team. After all they have won 2 of the past 3 titles. <p></p><i></i>

Ryan stoa is also going to be attending the gophers next year...and speaking of that, i believe the gophers play the NTDP U-18 team saturday night, it would be a good time to see the recruits play agianst future teamates... <p></p><i></i>

Saturday - Gophers vs. NTDP U-18 team at Maruicci...i am not sure what time it is at...stoa, mueller, frazee, (future gophers) along with kessel are on the NTDP team... <p></p><i></i>

Hopefully Kessel will see a good gopher atmosphere at the u. I have heard that it is down between the gophs and Wisconsin. Lets show him what the state of hockey is all about and hope he decides to become a gopher. <p></p><i></i>
