takes on the hopefull game? century should walk on mayo and lakeville shouldnt have a problem with jm...so for the 4th yr in a row i believe it should be century v lakeville for section finals...this yr should be diff for century hopefully..lakeville isnt as strong as they normally are and century has more fire power and an even more solid kangas inbetween the pipes....should be a good game none the less but ill take century 5-2 if all plays out like it should...or century 4-2, 5-2 with empy netter...goals by cox, grimstead, holland, and 2 by peterson...one empty netter... <p></p><i></i>

okay, let's talk about saturday<br><br>all three of mayo's goalies are terrible and are going to get lit up<br><br>mayo has two good defensemen who don't play defense<br><br>mayo has no forward who consistantly puts the puck in the net<br><br>century has a monster line who can score on anybody<br><br>an all-state goalie<br><br>solid, quick defensemen<br><br>I'd say this game will be 8-0<br><br>now you can keep talking about the finals, which will be lakeville and century <p></p><i></i>

2002, Mayo beat Century twice during the regular season. Mayo had Thauwald, Canzanello (2 D1 guys), a decent goalie in Nash and the #1 seed. Century had not much and a #4 seed but wins 2-1 by keeping Thauwald handcuffed and frustrated all night. It's playoffs, anything can happen. That Mayo team was better than Century is this year and look what happened. Century should win Saturday, but I'm not ready to write off Mayo just yet. <p></p><i></i>

Eric Canzanello is an '02 grad. I wasn't sure either but the Big Nine web site has him as all conference that year.<br><br>Lakeville beat Mayo 5-1 at Graham, so a similar score to Mayo/Century games this year.<br><br>I want to give thanks to Donny Nadeau from St. Mary's in Winona on the fine job he does with all the work on the Big Nine hockey Website. <p></p><i></i>

4 years in a row, wow, i smell a little rivalry cookin up between these teams. my buddy went to the lakeville owatonna game and said lakeville didnt look as good as they have in past years but still are a solid team, he said there 1st line is pretty good and it should be fun to watch them match up with centurys 1st line. the 2 best players for lakeville are 13 and 16 the rest are average at best. <p></p><i></i>

yea...thats what ive hurd about lakeville this year too...not as good as usual...but thats expected...should be a good match up if they play century again...but i think century will come out on top 5-2 like i said before...both solid teams..century will play with more heart tho..wouldnt you after losing the past few years to the same team in the section finals? <p></p><i></i>
