Maybe they will actually get a turnout for a change. There in lies the reason why they are not very successful year in and year out. TRF, like Bemidji doesn't get enough support for their programs at the youth level. The size of the community is not large enough to draw Moorhead like numbers and there is no passion for hockey in TRF like a Roseau or Warroad. <p></p><i></i>

The LOW and TRF game was pretty packed (not to capacity) but TRF got more fans than I expected. It was a good turn out for both teams for a great game. I do believe the game will be closer than the pervious two. <p></p><i></i>

TRF wont do it this year. Warroad will take care of TRF pretty easily. Next season TRF will take care of Warroad pretty easily, only this game will be in the semi's rather than the finals. <p></p><i></i>

From what I hear TRF fans are terrible in the sportsmanship category which all falls back on the program itself. If they want to get a quality program going they have to clean up their act. <p></p><i></i>

Classic pipe dream by the TRF fans. They win a few playoff games and they think they can go all the way. I had a similar pipe dream this fall after the Vikings beat GB..in all my office pools i picked the vikings to win the superbowl...how stupid was that. Moral of the story is....don't think you can win it all by getting lucky early. <p></p><i></i>

Warroad is # 1 or 2 in AA or A nobody in A is going to beat them. To many horses. <p></p><i></i>

This year marks the forty years (1965) since the last time the Prowlers advanced to state. That year they went as Region (now section) champs. In those days there were only seven hockey regions so the runner-ups from regions seven and eight would play for the region three title. I believe TRF beat Duluth East in that game. Would be a nice anniversary present in 2005 but I just dont' see it as a possibility. <p></p><i></i>
