Little Falls will still be the team to beat but i think that Alex. or Willmar also have a fair chance. Yes i said Willmar. It's hard to believe but they always play Little Falls tough. So be on a watch when sections come around.

What is it about Donahue that they can't get rid of him? Do they like him? Or can they just not seem to close the door? What do the players think of him?

Until someone proves that Little Falls can be beaten, I'm going with them

That "fairly weak" Sartell team. Beat Duluth Marshall in thier tourney. Beat LF in Alex Hockeyfest weekend number 2 for the championship.

This could end up being a cake walk for the Flyers. I don't see anyone in 4A with anything close to the talent that the Flyers have.

The team Little Falls threw together for Hockeyfest was a bunch of young guys that will play JV and 2 kids from Wadena. I dont think that is a good representation of their Varsity squad

Yes it is true that little falls had a young squad on the tournement however, the 2 "wadena" players were actually from the willmar squad and i believe throughout the two games the combined for 8 out of the 10 goals scored also willmar beat LF last year on the road, dont count them out with over 10 seniors

Card4life, the team at hockeyfest had 2 kids from WADENA, the Petit brothers, i played on that team. you should check your facts before you make corrections.

Little Falls has two players playing Elite II and two more playing in the Upper Midwest HS Elite league, how many does Willmar have? I believe that Festler is also the leagues leading scorer and Hanowski played on the USA Hockey U-17 Select team this summer.
Yeah, I see how Willmar can take Section 4

I believe that ultimate hick team beat your gift to the hockey world team twice, no
three
times last year.
Card4life, get a life. Typical arrogant Willmarite. I'll give you a little help with the big word......
arrogant=having or showing too high an opinion of own's own position or rights, contemptuous of others.
One more for ya, then I'll quit. River Lakes had two players on the District 5 Advanced 15 team. How many did Willmar have? Oh yeah, one, an alternate.

Sounds like Crosby-Ironton and Pequot Lakes have combined. I heard it from a pretty reliable resource. Just wondering if anyone else knows about this. No neither team would have done much alone nor together but it still sad to see the state lose an established team.
