Sooo.... since most predictions narrow it down to three teams (WBL, EP, and WAY) which team is the best of the three and why? After watching WAY stomp Egan they have alot of great puck movement and speed, in my mind the best JGA team in the state

Wayzata will win state this year because WBL and EP should face each other in the semi's and whoever advances to the championship game the next day will have to play an even better game to beat Wayzata. I'm assuming that Wayzata will beat Hastings and then the winner of Centennial vs. Grand Rapids, so they will then be in the state championship game and we all know how they've done the past few years. Also, they have players who have state championship glory from last 2 years and other sports as well, so they know what it takes to win. Wayzata will win it's 4th in a row...

Wayzatas top line is solid but i think EP has more depth and better goaltending...i think both these teams are very evenly matched and if they meet in the state championship it will be a very good game....but both the teams will have a hard road there....EP has duluth and probably WBL unless OMG pulls out a miracle...and Wayzata will have to play a very good GR team... should be fun to see how it all unfolds

So there has been a lot of talk about EP WBL and WAY being the top three, however EP plays Duluth, who has a very tough goalie, and has beaten EP in the MTKA tourney early this season. WBL plays Osseo, who is NOT a good team, but is known for stirring up the game with cheap shots and distracting coaches, making it always hard to win. And WAY is playing Hastings, who they beat early in the season, but haven't played since. Hastings played very well in Regions, playing hard against EP, and eliminating the high scoring Eagan team. Of these three games I would not be surprised to see at least one upset. It will be very interesting to see how everything plays out.

all teams this year in state have a little potential, the hastings EP game was a good game to watch, even though EP won Hastings played very well and were dominating for a while, WAY played AMAZING against Egan, and WBL beat the hot wessys team, it will be interesting to see how the northern teams play as well. Should be a great tourney, lots of good games.

Wayzata is the best team in state they beat us 6-1 and 8-1 when EP only peat us 2-1 and they didnt even dominate the game. wayzata doesnt seem to slow down on any line, it seems like their worst players are as good as most teams top players.
