this is my top 4

1.Mac Carruth( if he plays hot he is very bad when cold or if u get in his head)
2.Jake Brutlag (if he plays bantams cuz lakeville north high only has two other goalies and brutlag might have to play jv or varsity)
3.Ryan O'Shea ( he is a very solid goalie if brutlag play highschool O'Shea would be 2)
4. Jacob Meyers (drops pretty quick but he still gets those pucks and gets the job done)

Edina returns one of their goalies next year and when I watched him play he was very good.

His name in Young. (not sure of the first name). but yes he is a very good goalie. hes a big kid, with good movement deffinately in the top tier of bantam goalies next year.

edina's returning goalie's name is Michael Young. and by the way are you kidding with jake brutlag!? He doesn't work at all and plus hes not good! i also think mac curuth is around the 4-5 range. i would go with this
1. jake meyers (EP)
2. ryan o'shea (eastview)
3. bret larson (centennial)
4. mike young (edina)
5. mac curuth (tonka)

i also think tommy burke from chaska is a very solid goalie

i dont know why people say mac curuth is one of the best goalies! hes so overrated it isnt even funny. everytime i play aginst him or watch him, he lets in a few goals and gets pissed and goes WAY down hill after that. good goalies shake off the goals and go out and stop the others

Carruth is going to play 'AAA' for the Chicago Chill minor midgets.

why does that matter if hes playing AAA in chicago? what matters is he played sub par last year for minnetonka! even though they were terrible, he still didnt play as well as he should have. hes so cocky and thinks hes the best goalie out there. thats a good attitude to have but if you go over the line teams will try even harder to score on him more!

Carruth

gopher33:

I didn't say or imply he was good, just the fact that he is moving on to a different level of hockey.

Take a chill pill dude, do you have a grudge against Carruth or something?

ryan o'shea is playing HS and mike young isnt that good. hes slow on his feet, but he does win a lot

A good goalie doesn't need to have great technique. All they need to do is keep the puck out of the net and win games.

i would say meyers from ep first o'shea is pretty good also

what about maiers from st cloud, you may not think he looks good but look at the team in front of him, they are god aweful, but i think he will be good down the road
