Since I don't feel like buying both and the movie stores in Hastings suck i need to get some opinions on both. I have a 360 and live and what not and have played both demos but the NHL 07 demo is no help because its only a shootout. So far I have heard NHL 07 is better overall but I still want more opinions........

NHL 07 by far. Having control with the sticks is huge

I haven't played 2K7 yet but I own 07 for the 360. Allow me to be the one millionth person to say "This game sucks!" I miss 06.

The glitches...but you get that with any EA sports game these days. Especially on the 360. What was once my favorite gaming company has gone lazy and let down its fans.
The Diamond...instead of a circle around the player there is a diamond above his head which i find to be distracting. It also doesn't tell you when your player has control of the puck. This is a small detail that pisses me off.
The Skill Stick.....alright, I thought when I first bought the game this was a good idea but they weren't able to do it properly. I was wrong. Once you master the skill stick (which I still haven't done) the game is unbelievable. Never before have we been able to pull off such sick moves.
It is an enjoyable game, and if you get the roster updates it is even more fun. Malkin is unstoppable. Just shoot and score.

Is there even an NHL 2K7? And have you looked into options to see if you can change the small details that bother you?

Neither... Go with '06. In '06, you are able to do "special dekes"
