Show up in Burnsville this weekend. Possibly beat some teams on this list and you make the Rankings for sure.

Elliot, did Bemidji move up some good Pee Wee players? Because they weren't that great last year. Roseau must be overrated, they took some losses recently. Brainerd pounded on Moorhead Sunday even though the score was 3-2. The teams up north will be good this year as time will tell. The metro teams always have a head start.
Duluth East
Brainerd
Moorhead
Bemidji
Roseau
Grand Rapids
Warroad
Top 4 could easily be in the state top 20
to much time

Chuck Norris fan, you should find a hobby I think. Typing all those comments about the top 20 teams would take a while.

Not bad. My only thing is if Tartan is the top of D2 why are they 7 spots behind WB which is also D2?

Elk River beat Blaine 4-1! Blaine was out-worked, passed, shot, etc. They got their buts whooped good. Blaine is talented, but appear to be overrated

Chuck Norris Fan wrote:This is the Pre Thanksgiving weekend Rankings. New ones next week after the Tourneys have finished. Want to see good hockey go to EP, #'s 1,3,4,7,8,9,11,12,13,15, 17, 19, 20
1. EP - no offical loss yet
2. Duluth East - took Ep to a shoot out and won
3. Centennial - Top team lost to #1 and #2 by 1 goal in tight games
4. Jefferson - Have shown up every night and Put the W's on the Board
5. Moorehead - Has lots of talent & will show it in 2 weeks at thier tourney
6. Edina - # 6 For now if Taft leaves 2 H.S. they could slide more
7. White Bear Lake - plays good team D, beat Centennial on 2 weird goals
8. Blaine - would be higher except , a Jekyll and Hyde team.
9. Eagan - Big goalie, can they be better than last year?
10. St. Cloud - Back to 1 team, high expectations, lets see the Dist 10 play
11. Wayzata - Lots of team speed, no direction??
12. Chaska - Beat Jefferson, then almost lost to Prior Lake.
13. Rochester North - Big team, getting better
14. Tartan - the top of District 2, for now
15. Woodbury - Goalie issues will hurt them all year
16. Moundsview - this still might be high for them
17. Maple Grove - not nearly as talented as last year
18. Roseau - until they show different they should be down here
19. Stillwater - No Housley is a good thing
20. Lakeveille South - Getting stronger after the split?
Who is on the outside looking in???
Hermantown
Elk River
Brainerd
Bemidji
Hopkins
Grand Rapids could easily be on there for starters...I don't think Jefferson should be that high, and if they are, where is Chaska? shouldn't be at 12. Roseau--too high. They have lost atleast two or three games. Lakeville South should be higher.

Bemidji's Bantam A group as pee wees were #1 in D16. So, yes, a lot of good peewees moved up.
Bemidji took Warroad for granted lsast Saturday. Even though they outshot them, they lost in OT after coming back in the third period. Warroad has a nice team. You need to be ready to play with them.
Brainerd seems to be strong - who are the top second year players there?

I don't want to throw out names. Brainerd returns 10 from last season and are well coached. The players work hard and play team hockey. They do have some good leadership on the ice that lead by example. 3 players made the district 15 advanced team last year.

Didn't Brainerd go 0-4 in Duluth last weekend? I am not sure you can talk about them being good, when they can't win a game.

all i know is that 4 years ago every single team in the ep tourney was ranked in the top 20. this is clearly the best tourney in the state. it better than state because you dont have teams like owatonna in it. i mean no offence but edina didnt try at all and still completley dominated the game.

Roseau is either over-rated, or St. Cloud is under-rated..St. Cloud beat them 5-1?

One post you say:
Forum: Minnesota Youth Hockey Posted: Wed Nov 22, 2006 5:42 pm Subject: lakeville south BTM A
rankings dont mean anything until teams start playing a significant amount of games
Now hear you talk about how ep tourney is best tourney in state because of how many teams are ranked...which one is it?
I agree with your earlier post, it is WAY to early for rankings to matter...the ep tourney is a decent tourney because it has some teams that could be good based on past history not necessarily because of this years teams.

they dont matter until the season gets going but you have to have some input on the teams that are ranked.
