The Consolation Games are:
Semi-Finals
Eden Prairie Vs Maple Grove
Lakeville North Vs Eagan
I would have predicted Maple Grove(#8 ), Lakeville North (#5), and Eagan (#1) to all be in the championship round. Edina (#13), Centennial (NR), and Chaska (#18 ) have all surprised me. While Rochester (NR) and Eden Praire (#19) could have gone either way.

Thought Wayzata beat Eagan 5-1 to then play Maple Grove in the consolation finals.
Where did the 94 Fire play this weekend?? Why are they not in either the Burnsville or EP Tourney?

YES, it is Wayzata vs. Maple Grove in the consolation finals.
The #13 US ranked 94 Fire played three(3) games against the St. Louis Jr. Blues this weekend. They sweep the Blues according to my contact.
Heard they actually play 17 minute periods vs. only 12 minute periods which our boys played in the EP tourney. Why do we even stand for such short games!

I guess I just assumed that with each team going 2-1 in pool play that Lakeville North would advance, via a head-to-head tie breaker. Apparently that is not the first tie breaker. The first must have been goal differential or something like that for Wayzata to advance.
So I assume from the above posts that:
Wayzata beat Eagan
Maple Grove beat Eden Prairie
to advance to the consolation finals?
Does anyone have scores from either these games or the Championship semi's and Finals? Thanks

Edina won the CHAMPIONSHIP - congrats!
Shows lot's of character after a slow start to the season.
Think the score was 3-0

Yes, Edina over Rochester 3-0 for the championship. Congrats.
Wayzata beat Eagan 5-1 to move to consolation finals.
Maple Grove over Eden Prairie 5-1 to meet Wayzata.
Wayzata wins 2-1 over MG in consolation.

Did I see Eden Prairie only won once in their tournament? Didn't they win the tournament last year, plus state? Must be a down year for the Pee Wees in that community
