Me,
Grizzley Wintergreen, 3, busted by parents at 17 with 54 empty tins in a grocery bag and getting off by saying found them in the alley and was going to see if i could get money for recycling them.

But of course, when one is young and indestructable, it can't happen to you, right?

Copenhagen when it was much cheaper to buy a can. Now i'll do whatevers cheapest, 8 years its been for me. Hopefully something helpfull to keep in mind for everyone is that I quit for several months one year. I said it probably wont kill me to have one every once in a while. Maybe one or two a week? Took me 3 days and I was chewing a can every few days again.

That pretty much sums up the insanity of the addiction. Our mind starts telling us "Just one. Won't hurt". And if it did end at just one, no problemo. Problem is, one becomes two becomes ten becomes a thousand.

How does that phrase go? "One is too many and a thousand is not enough". Applies to this just as it does to dope, booze, smack, meth. At the base of it all is this line of bull we have to feed ourselves to justify maintaining the addiction.

The pics here and elsewhere should be looked at and considered very seriously. Not one of those people thought they'd end like that. It's not like they set out to do that kind of damage to themselves. But in the end, that is exactly what happened. And for what? Relaxation? To be cool? To bond with buddies?

Not worth it.

Pretty much all of that applies to Slappy's "Up for Grabs" as well.

Not worth it.

Got a good chuckle out of that one. Tried a friend's Copenahagen once during a movie @ the theater and I was down for the count - had to run to the bathroom to boot. Never understood the attraction.

ER is right on with his assessment of the "Up for Grabs" drivel.

Tried it once when I was sixteen. Sitting in the backseat of a buddies Tracker (no window, no can to spit),I swallowed all the juice. I honestly thought I was gonna pass out, and the pain in my gut, aw lawdy.
