Seems like there are a plethora of hockey players that also play golf, whether on the high school team, or when they are done playing hockey. Jeff Nielson, for example, won state golf then went to to captain da gophers and play in the NHL.

I think 5 of the 6 kids on Roseau's HS golf team are hockey players (last year anyway..) and all 6 or GR's golf team played hockey at one point in time (4 still do).

What do you guys know?

Its very common. The weight transfer in golf is the same as shooting in hockey. You spin, not stride like in baseball.
