just to get this whole student section chant thing going... brainerd fans have continued to use their ORIGINAL chants at all games. The warrior hockey...Yes chants get louder every game. the Bop Bops are as loud as ever.(its from Saving Silverman if you didnt know). probably the funniest chant of the year so far for the brainerd fans was last week in Sauk Rapids. For anyone who has been there before the start of the game they have this really cool light show

(2 flashlights, 4 inch strobe light, and a manager skating around with a 3 ft x 2 ft flag) as this was going on i noticed that the sauk rapids fans dont really get into it.. its kinda funny. the brainerd fans started cheering THIS IS GAY over and over again as the rink was completely quite. it was pretty funny. at the start of the 3rd, the brainerd fans decided we wanted a little more light show and started yelling WHERES THE LIGHT SHOW. if anyone else has expierienced the storm light show, its a once in a lifetime oppurtunity

GR fans

Our fans definetly aren't what they used to be. It's early in the year and once Rapids gets some big wins things will change a little, if they do. For some reason GR fans just don't really get into it until the playoffs then they kick it up a notch.

You're gonna have a poll about fans and you're bias enough to put

BRAINDEAD

on it, but not Moorhead or Bloomington Jefferson?
CEC

Dude, what about Cloquet/Esko/Carlton fans? They're a pretty loyal bunch.

ok so i might have forgotten a few schools

but its not bias for me to put brainerd on the list. they clearly make the games more enjoyable for anyone to watch. they get into the game. not a social event. they clearly have one of the best crowds in the state

Also, the YOU YOU YOU on penalties has been VERY inraging to numerous opposing fans INCLUDING an Elk River player
My favorite was as Jared Hoppe went on a dangle expedition, when he skated off the ice the place was rocking with DANGLER DANGLER
Brainderd fans (numbers)

What about numbers? Brainerd is a big enough town they should fill one side of the DECC like Rapids, CEC, and East. They didn't last time at the DECC. And the longer drive is not an excuse. Strictly talkin' numbers here, nothing to do with behavior. It wasn't as fun in the 2nd semi-final when Brainerd only had about 400 fans compared to the 1500-2000 the other 3 schools had.

Why didn't you just put Brainerd Chants in the title if that's all we are gonna talk about?

I gotta agree with ER right here. I'm all for Brainerd and whatnot but this bias is a little bit suffocating right now.

I wish I could be one of the Braindead cronies...

big_thurst what you SHOULD wish for is that your beloved Elks beat teams of the likes of Maple Grove, and stop worrying about us up here in Brainerd

Or teams like Braindead...

How bout the Jags fans chanting "OVER 40" to some random mom from chaska flippin them off???

I agree with Swish, the Brainerd bias is a little overwhelming and I would be happy to here more chants from other schools. Biscuitbasket, may I ask why the Chaska mom was flipping them off?
