Chaska returns to the Pagel Center after last year's miracle win by Tonka in the sections.

Chaska is looking tough in the early season. Can they keep it up tomorrow night?

Tonka has more depth. Both teams have very good goalies. I think this game will be close to the end with Tonka prevailing by 2 goals.

Haven't seen Chaska play yet, but Tonka looked very good against AHA. Also Tonka owes them one for last year.

Tonka 4
Chaska 1

how does loosing 4-1 mean you look good?! i mean in high school hockey winning by 3 between two ranked teams isnt very close! also, scoring 1 goal wont get it done

plus i got chaska wining 3-2

Final from Pagel:

Tonka - 4
Chaska - 3

Former Hawk Anthony Raiola scores the game winner on the Power Play with 55 seconds to go in the game. Minnetonka kills off a 6 v 4 advantage for the last 45 seconds.

Chaska nearly scored the equalizer with about 15 seconds to go, but I think the shot went wide (couldn't see) from the bottom of the left circle on a great rink wide pass.

The Hawks first 2 lines are very good. #19 and #11 for Chaska are solid players. This team could make some head turns come playoff time.

That is why I never got the job of setting the odds in Vegas. :x

Anton is a good kid and I am glad to see him doing well in Tonka.
what a nice way to say hello to his former teammates

Keep an eye on the development of #4 the 9th grade defenseman Nick Mattson. Come playoff time he will be be more battle tested.

I hope for Snuggy's sake they go out on a high note in his final season

Chaska again gets the shaft by the guys in zebra stripes. A bad call after not calling anything in the 3rd period gave tonka the pp and then lead with a minutes left. Then chaska gets a goal called off with 5 seconds left. Sounds fishy to me.

You have to be from Chaska. I don't think I have heard such whining as this before. Chaska had more than their share of chances. They just don't have the finishers like Tonka. How about the 6 on 4 for the last 50 seconds of the game. How about the faceoff with 15 seconds left and Snuggy trys to draw it to a defenseman with six players in front of the net, no way it goes thru even if they win the draw. Quit whining.
