Unless what was said in the past is wrong, Chris Hickey will be back for Thursday's game at Mounds View. Cretin-Derham Hall is a really good team, but how much better will they be with Hickey back?

Hickey can make all the difference in the world for CDH. The most obvious effect is the points they lack without him. Also the part that doesn't get documented on a stat sheet, Hickey is a very intellegent hockey player, and is very aware of where he is on the ice as well as his linemates. Even when he's not getting the goals, or assists he makes smart plays with the puck to always keep the play moving. Allowing for his linemates to also get scoring chances. Rarely will you see a bad pass or a poor decision on his part. (Something we have been seeing too much out of CDH lately)

My question I've asked 2 or 3 times that no one has really answered. Is he at 100% now or will he need some time to get there? He hasn't been playing in games, missed 45% of the season, and is just coming back into it. I know in lots of sports as I have seen first and second hand many times if you're injured in one season you are thinking about getting ready for the next season and just cheering on your team for this season. Can anyone speak to this or give insight?

Are you wondering if he is rushing back or going to be rusty from being out for so long?
If you are wondering if he is rushing back from the injury to soon, I don't know first hand for sure or not but i would highly doubt it. He already has a full ride to play for the Badgers next year and isn't up for the draft, so theres no real reason to risk it.

He's already been drafted by the Wild, hasn't he?
Thanks, that's kinda what I was thinking too. Anyone know first hand?

Don't you have to be 18 to be drafted. That's why Kessel wasn't drafted until this year...
And All-star, guess what, if you would have read the link, you would see that he was 7th round actually...

Looks like he was old enough 'cause the Wild drafted him in the 7th

Hickey has a very early Birthday, probably one of the oldest in his class. He was 18 well before last years draft.

How does being born September 2, 1988 make him "18 well before last years draft"?
Better check your math again.

I just posted it on here so the lazy folks could see it without having to click the link(seeing as how they were all wondering about it even after you posted it up there)
