A few kids from up north playing for Brainerd, Warroad, East, Rapids and Moorhead. None of you cidiots know how to cover your defensive zone.

Kyle Kleinendorst is in my mind one of the best 92 defenceman in the state. he has a very hard shot and hits like a train.

Yes, although he takes himself out of position all the time by making the big hit. Leaves his D partner with an odd man rush pretty often.

Ben Marshall from Mahtomedi is fairly good and is consistent, usually in position.

No, he's not the best. He's decent tho.

i would have to say Matt Campbell. He is on the top D pairing for the mankato west varsity team and is doing very well. He is definately one of the top 92 d men in the state

i agree that kleinendorst is a great defenseman. he can shoot the puck very hard and can hit like no one i have seen in a while. there is also a downside to kleinendorst though. he can hit hard , if he gets the guy. alot of the time he takes himself out of the play. if he could learn to just get some of the guy and take them out of the play then he would be all set. i believe he is one of the best defense in the north.

Don't get me wrong, he's a good player, but how can it be said at the same time that he takes himself out of position AND he's one of the best defensemen.
The top notch defensemen are going to have more to their game than a great slapshot and big hitting.

i agree with hockey fan
a good slapshot and good hitting isnt the whole game there are many other things that factor into being a good defenseman

Maple Groves #15 has game. Doesn't have the best size but is a smart physical player with a decent shot from the point.
