What teams fit the bill this year? Which teams get too much undeserved credit/hype and which get teams get too little recognition (maybe not the top five or top ten, but better than most people think)?

over rated.... tartan

how can u say tartan is over rated??? they are 5-0 in league and took first in both the rochester and superior tourneys. and also in the superior tourney they beat an A team from canada. so i dont think they are over rated at all. they are just a very good team and are very tough to beat. its time for everyone to accept that.

o and also for buffalo.. if i remember correctly i believe we beat you. hmm does that ring a bell??

The league is interesting this year... There really is no team that is dominating. As far as teams that are underated: Champlin Park and TC Wessy Boys. Both teams have defeated EP and Wayzata and have played strong all year.

Teams that are overrated are Eden Prairie, and Wayzata. Both teams that usually dominate the league are struggling against mediocre teams they usually kill.

im not saying that tartan isnt a good team b/c they are i just dont think that they are what theyre cracked up to be.... and yea we did lose to tartan but im also saying that we could beat them

i dont think you can beat tartan. if i remeber right we dominated you and that was only the second game of the season

usually we count how many goals you score as the determining factor, not shots on goal

That always spells it out. Shots on goal can just make the other teams Goalie look a lot better.

a team from canada? the junior gold equiv in canada is AA, not A

sorry but the shots in the tartan game was 40 tartan, 26 buffalo so i guess you lost at that too

I would have to say that Woodbury is under-rated. I watched them punish tartan 3-1 and they had a bantam b-2 goalie playing for them. They also destroyed IGH-Red 3-1 (the score does not indicate how bad they dominated). Yes, they lost to edina in a tourney, but it is almost undescribable how god aweful they played. If they come to play, I don't think there is a team that can beat them.

Again your are still posting on here. Tell me why you are wasting your breath on a Jr Gold forum, that is all I care about. Secondly, I have heard that WB sucks my entire life, I know that everyone hates us because we're always good.

wbl is definitely overrated and nobody thinks of them more highly then themselves. they actually talked enough smack to their varsity team that they are gonna play each other. even though their varsity team is down this year they are definitely not a GREAT team. they are good but it is more important to them to talk about how good they are then actually show people how good they are

accutly it was their jv team that we thought we be a good game if we played them. we would get walked on by the varsity team so get it right buddy!
