I know MG beat ER earlier in the year but don't you think AHE will be the better team by years end?

I like Centennial to edge out Blaine, Elk River, and Anoka in the NWSC this year.

don't be totally sold on anoka having ease with this conference... champlin park beat them tonight 3-2 in ot. anoka had more shots but most were perimeter shots and they didn't have many scoring chances.

I agree MNhock.....anoka will not win the conf. Nice team but will not win NWSC. I think it will come down to the big two, Blaine and Centennial.

The team that will sneak up on you in this conference is Maple Grove. They easily could have tied Blaine last night, and if not beat them. Tomarrow will be an interesting game vs. Champlin Park.

Maple grove lost to anoka by 3 early in the season. who ever wins this game should be the sleeper that will have a lot of say in the nwsc down the road.

Don't have shots, they didnt have them up on the board tonight, I don't know why.
Brodhag, ER, 1st ER 1-0
??, And., 2nd 1-1
Slavik, 2nd ER 2-1
Martell, ER, 2nd ER 3-1
Leigakos, 3rd ER 4-1
ER heavily out shot the Huskies, a lot of penalties, game got really chippy. Martell hit a pipe in the 2nd. Andover scoring on a 5-3 pp. Elks really applied a lot of pressure and controlled the game, only time Huskies set up offense or put on any pressure was on the pp.
The Elks aren't quite where they usually are yet, but the team is starting to shape up. They're 5-2 in the conference. (W: Centennial, North Metro, Coon Rapids, Andover, Osseo. L: Blaine, Maple Grove.) They have Champlin Park, Anoka, and Maple Grove all this week.

You heard right, the Bengals did put up 60 shots on Sat. if you were still wondering. Blaine had their 3rd string goalie in and gave up 2 goals in the first minute. Easily could have been a 5 or 6 goal win for the Mighty Bengals. Can I get a verification as to who actually won the Anoka/CP game the other day, I've seen mixed results. Thanks

With Blaines loss last night they are a game behind Centennial for top spot in the NWSC, however didn't they have a game with North Metro postponed due to the ice storm back in late November/December? Any word on if they are going to make up that game at all or what the plan is going to be on that?

it's neccesary to make them game up seeing as how it is a conference game. if they don't i would be shocked. i haven't heard anything tho.

Maple Grove beat Andover last night 5-1.
This conference is going to be totally up for grabs with the Blaine losing to Centenial.
