Edina is just another average team and Jefferson has a little something.
I give Jefferson the edge in a close game.

Edina will win 4-2.
They have been playing great and have been beating some great teames this month. Jefferson is very good from what I have watched but I still give Edina the win 4-2 ENG.

Kennison will win. With almost half their team from kennedy and half their team from jefferson. They should be abel to beat the 1 communtiy of edina. Kennison is pretty good.

Lately edina has developed something that they haven't had in a very long time: A team that plays as a team, rather than relying on the talent of individuals (last year cough cough). Jefferson may be good at capitalizing on mistakes made by the other team, but edina has been making almost no mistakes. i would have said Jefferson would win 5-2 about a month ago, but now i have to say that Edina will win 3-1.

brickwall how did they play as individuals? the whoel 1st line got over 100 points. everson got over 100 goals. and they gave up 9 goals in the 16 games in the best district in the state last year! 9 goals is some pretty good TEAM defence in 16 games (.56) that will win you a lot of games!

Very true and not to drag on about last year, but I still think that they were the best team in the state last year, they let up in one game.

Jefferson wins 3-2.
Jefferson's first goal was a dump in shorthanded and went right under the goalie's stick. Ref was horrible making some very questionable calls, surprisingly more bad calls on Edina.

Yes I agree. The refs made some terrible, and crucial calls on Edina. Edina dominated throughout the whole game, and had more shots. They just couldn't get the bounces in the end. Edina was up 2-1 with 2 minutes left.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY LET UP IN ONE GAME? ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THERE 3-0 LEAD THEY COULDNT HANG ONTO AS A 5 MAN TEAM?? TEAMS WIN TITLES NOT INDIVIDUALS. HAVE TO AGREE WITH BRICKWALL.

I showed up to see the Bantam B1's and caught this game by surprise. Horrible ref'ing for both games, but Edina was the better team and should have won the game - if it weren't for the poor goalie that took a sieve goal in the 1st period. It really lost the game for the hornets. Not a garbage goal, but a pathetic trickle that was slower than the senior citizens changing lanes on Highway 62.
The Bantam B1 game was much faster and a better style of play. The Bantam A game was slower, less sticks actually catching pucks and the physical play was just plain sloppy. Jefferson should consider themselves lucky on this one and buy that goalie's parent a beer.

Or Jefferson could feel good cuz nevertheless they beat Edina and got the win...and a win is a win. I think thats a better option.

3-2...whatever you say espnmobile you guys know deep down that edina is the better team and that win has no effect in d6..you guys are still behind ep and edina by a longshot, and still behind chaska soo....

I'm not saying Edina is a bad team. They are a very very good team. And the refs did screw up a lot in that game. But it goes both ways. Jefferson has had those type of games before too.
And Jefferson is behind Edina because of fairplay pts. and because they've played one less game.
Jefferson (after the Edina game) has played 11 games and are 8-2-1
Edina has played 12 games and are 10-2-0
And does Edina play EP again? If Edina plays EP again I'm betting they will lose. It'll be a pretty tight finish in D6.

Maybe Edina had a hard time holding it together with out their head coach on the bench?
