Who's in it to win it and who's going to crash and burn?

not gunna lie white bear does have the upper hand

Duluth is in it, the will probably leave a mark also, this should be a great tournament regardless of who wins, definetly several of the top teams in the state will be showing their stuff this weekend.

yeah that green bay team beat us (WBL) in the championsip last year. they were pretty amazing. and yeah they did have some dudes from overseas that were also pretty amazing. anyone know if they have more this year?

Umm...yeah...GB is going to win...

Green Bay is definatly the favorites. They walked through this tournament last year with no struggle. They did have a couple kids from the Czech Republic that could score at will, but I'm not sure if they are on the team this year.

yea the GB team is good i hope obviously bein from wayzata that we do beat them and get to play white bear... that would be a good match up. last time we played WBL the game was 2-1 and we out shot them 17-1 in the third period but their goalie played amazingly. WBL is a good team and has that one line of captains that stands out. But we'd have to beat a good GB team first...

Does anyone know were i can look at a bracket for this tourny??

im not totally sure but sometimeswww.metrohockeyleague.com has info on tournaments. i know they have the EP tournament bracket on there.

yea you guys need to stop talkin like anyone else stands a chance besides GB.

i dont know anyone can win at anytime its been proven in a lot of games so far this year... if anyone has a chance to beat GB early in the tourny id think either wayzata or white bear would have to take them out in one of the first two rounds.

gb doesnt skate hard but they can pass shoot and stick handle like noe one, and they have a sick pp so if wessys outs works them and stays out of the box they might have a small chance, im picking gb tho

ya GB has some sick stick handlers and they can shoot really good. if Wessys can play the body on them and huslte they will take them.

bville came out, had nothing left after GB, how did wbl and wayzata end up?

gb won, wessy's out shot them something like 22-18.. wessys lost 1-3 and then the empty netter made it 1-4.. pretty close game... ref's kinda screwed wessys with some bad calls.

so ultimatley the top teams in the state of minnesota couldnt beat a wisconsin team...

I am personally embarrassed by the behavior and deportment of the Wessy's boys players and their parents. Five players were kicked out of the game, one after punching a hockey referee in the face. To make matters worse, their parents seemed to encourage and condone this type of obnoxious behavior.

Complaining about the referees is ridiculous as they were a homeboy crew.

They should have ejected the parents as well, especially the photographer with the tripod in the multi-colored jacket and his wife, the most obnoxious parents that I have ever encountered at a hockey tournament.

These parents and players are a discredit to an otherwise very well run tournament.

The name of the team should be changed to the Wussy Boys.
