So HO HO I suppose Boblee is just picking C/I because he dislikes Rogers, or me, or some demented thing you'll come up with??

Or....

Just maybe it's because of how they have been playing :-k not some twisted game your playing.

(Bob ya gota read thru a few pages on the Mississippi 8 thread to get what I'm talkin about)

Sorry Bob

Althought C/I is on a win streak and a huge win over Buffalo. I just think that Rogers will be ready to play and take advantage of that c/i win over buffalo.

I like CI in this game. They are at home on a Friday night & should have a good crowd. Second time around they tied Forest Lake after losing by a lot earlier in the year, same thing here.

Blue Jackets 3, Royals 2 in a close one.

as long as there is five jackets on the ice and chumley is one of them most of the time CI takes this at home no problem. Rogers will have a hard time matching the intensity considering the big home crowd and anger from the previous loss. bottom line is they have to stay out of the box

good call on this one the energy is going to be crazy and emotions will be flyin high, both teams will have to play in control and stay outta the box, ci in a huge win at home!

I am going to go with rogers in a close game and probably low scoring 3-2 . I see predictions of c/i winning by 3 if they can do that it would be an accomplishment Rogers has only lost 1 game in the last season and a half by more than one goal and that was against andover and the two goal spread was from an empty netter. No matter how you slice it the game will be a good one to watch there is some bad blood between chumley and some kids from rogers but I am sure it is all in competitive spirit.

not to mention bad blood between the fans from both sides, fights after the game in the parking lot, this game is going to be intense

go with the Royals...they are solid..seriously...the difference in this match-up is Jensen and scaterelli...solid defensemen will slow down CI 1st line and that's all they got...after that Rogers will pummell good but flakey CI goalie who will fold up like he did against Monti...

i doubt two defensemen are going to shut down the CI first line. and if the first line is all they have how did they beat buffalo? or tie FL? or compete in any game? sure the 1st line is more offensively minded but they obviously have more depth than one line

I agree with HOF but I think the key to this game is goin to be solid team defense from both teams not just two defense men.

In reference to my agreement with HOF I mean Scatts and Jensen are good D

Schlep: Oh i know they have a second and third line...they just aren't very good...is that what you mean? How did they lose to Monti 7-3 and FL 8-1 earlier in the year???

Thanks Royal03...your darn tootin they are good.... there isn't any doubt in many's opinion that Rogers is going to whitewash the Bluejackets...Flakey CI goalie will melt down and frontliners for CI will spend half the game in the penalty box...
