This is a high school hockey forum, so I'm curious what fans of high school hockey think of our NHL team. They started the season as one of the best teams in the NHL and although there have been bump they have shown they can play with the best and win, but also lose to the worst. They have been as high as 3rd in the conference in the last month, but are currently 8th, and 14th in the NHL in points. What are people's thoughts?

Ummm, isn't there a Pro hockey forum for this, or at least the Cafe?

Yes, and I stated opening I know this is a high school forum. But we discuss college players and such all the time, so I'm curious about the opinions of people who usually discuss high school hockey and are all from Minnesota.

Now that they seem to have the whole road thing figured out a little [-o< maybe they can make a nice little run here.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. If they can win tonight and Friday they can can a good streak going for when they meet the Dallas Stars and possibly lead the division, especially if Calgary keeps up the losing as they are ahead and have less games.

I know this and I agree. He will be a great addition to the team (on the year of course), but can the addition of one player make up 16 pts (8 wins) that they are behind Nashville right now?

All of their losses have been close and they have been a very good shot at winning out in January. If they can do that, where does it stop?

They play the Stars twice away in the next two months and once at home, but that would seem to be the only challenging game for them until the end of February. If they can keep it alive, is it realistic to put them in the run for the President's Trophy?

He has been practicing, but the Wild called up Josh Harding for insurance. It sounds like he should be alright and all he needed was a little rest.

Not that getting hurt is a good thing, but since he did he couldn't have done it at a better time with the All Star break and all.

Big game tonight. If we win that, we're either tied for 1st or 2nd.

Who said they didn't think we'd make the play offs?
