After last weekend I don't know how close of a game it will be. Maybe if it is cold and a little snow falling Baudette can stay close or sneak one out.

I know LOW has been practicing on the ice so they might have a little advantage.

Over the years Baudette has produced many D1 & Pro hockey players. These individuals all put in huge amounts of icetime including out in the great outdoors. Pure and simple, extra icetime makes hockey players. The northwoods boy's will drive the "MOOSE" out of the woods and take this one 3-2.

Didn't Johnson just beat them 8-0?

I like the idea of a game played outdoors. It's old-school. I have to believe the boys from up north will be better acclimated to the ice conditions and the cold weather.

I think it is a great story, the outcome is irrelevant.

Is the rink they are using going up just for this game or do they commonly throw up some boards on the Bay?

The did a feature on FSN a couple of weeks ago showing the setup. It doesn't appear to be a common setup, it's unique to this game.

I've gotta think the Govs are going to pound them, they were dominant on Saturday, and if conditions dictate a slower game outdoors, that would bode well for them as well since they don't have great speed anyway.

Johnson - 4
LOTW - 1

I think it will be a great game and im guessing the score will be 4-3 Low if its snowing and cold.

After watching the game last week, the LOW coach seemed to be a major reason why the score got out of control. With playing only 2 lines and 2 sets of D, Johnson seemed to wear them down. With at least a dozen JV kids sitting in the stands, maybe on the bay he could use some of these kids for at least one period to add depth and give the top lines a break.[/quote]

I'm really interested in how FSN does features stries regarding this day in general-I think it is an absolute phenomenal idea!

Moose has plenty of built in insulation. He'll be fine!

He's gonna have to buy a touque for that bald cabbage of his though.

Anybody think we'll see this?

Just for the old "HockeyMommy" and the "BeerChair". LOW loses.

I predict a very cold game; a couple shattered pucks, a few more kids out with hypothermia, and TV timeouts to get the snowfall shoveled off the ice. Other than that.. LOW takes it in a...well not barn burner (hence no barn) but a close one. 4-3

Any LOTW fans know who to keep an eye on in this game? I missed them when they came to town last weekend, so I don't know who their big guns are.
