Thief River has had a hard time in recent years scoring against Marshall, I don't see how they find a way with this years team. Marshall 4, TRF 0

A team that ties Moorhead has no chance against a team who lost to Cathedral?

Hmmm... :D

TRF goalie will have to stand on his head like moorehead game.TRF can't score!Four against a park rapids team is not a breakout game.

Only special teams' goals by Marshall. Nice.

Was it as lopsided?...

Marshall was the better team but shots not really indicative of the game. Anything TRF's goalie touched was logged as a shot and TRF had a crossbar and 3-4 "open net" opportunities that were deflected or missed wide and not reflected in shots on goal. As stated above, all four of Marshall's goals were special teams but two were shorthanded within a minute during the same penalty kill (strange). On the other hand, TRF's last goal was with only 8 sec left so irrelevant. Right team won but might be fun if they both get to St. Paul and play again.

DM is the better team but who knows maybe TRF will have one of those games where all the bounces go their way. I'd like to see an upset this maybe a little far fetched.

TRF 3

DM 2
