August 2, 2005 Ten people who had voted in the 2004 Wood Coaster Poll and ridden Hades this summer took the time to add Hades to their ballot. Based on these few ballots, Hades would slot in at #8 in the world between Balder and Aska. The low number of Hades riders is what hurts its automated placement as three of its five ties were "decided" in 1-1 votes against coasters not in the top 20. The low number of riders also contributes to Hades having the lowest win total in the top ten. If we assumed that the aforementioned three ties would break as expected for Hades and that lower ranked coasters that it currently does not have valid comparisons with also went Hades way, Hades would then be expected to place 6th (narrowly slotting in between Thunderhead and Raven). This would seem just, noting that Hades was preferred to Raven by a wide 7-2 margin.
