You don't think that they aren't going to have preferential interest in some their players from the past season? I would say that the processes are very simi...

Smedsrud is a 98 My bad. Chaz is a 98. So you think its just those 5? maybe. you listed players on here from small towns so there is probably some other 98's but none that have stood out during the summer season. there are maybe 40 98's that could have played HS this year but don't live in towns li...

Re: This year Bantams filling key Varsity spots next year

I've been a follower (reader) for about a year. Now first time poster :) As the section rankings are now getting set, it got me thinking back to my days when i played. A lot of SR's are playing their last games. I remember my last game....... first congrats on a great, fun hockey career, may your f...

I think the GR forward you are referring to is a young man with the name Mattson(sp?) Not sure if he has the talent to go straight to varsity. GR has another forward that could contribute heavily this year, big kid, Frazier. Had decent year with not much help from line mates. could provide needed p...

9th grade changes

Are there a lot of soon to be 9th graders changing schools? Which Bantam programs are going to be hurt with kids leaving to play high school or play for a different association that is located within the boundaries of their new school?

My guess is why you are struggling with this is that you expect hockey to be pure, transparent and follow a published step by step process but it doesn't work that way. For instance, HS teams are picked long before tryouts, kids are identified outside of public settings and there are relationships t...

The intent is to give Mn kids a chance to be seen or compete for NTDP positions at the age of 14. Non-MN kids get a chance when they are 14 which puts MN kids at a disadvantage since they have to wait until they are 15. Less spots available. Since MN hockey chose not to formalize the 14's it took ot...

Thanks.

Thanks. So, just a couple of teams going to play in a AAA tourney in MI? Or, not even a tourney but just a few games? Maybe the initial poster was just trying to create some buzz? The program reads that 30 players will be divided into two teams. The teams will practice and play a series of games. P...
