Coach Griswold, I am still here. I take offense that you consider my post a "bash" against St. Thomas Academy. I merely pointed out what the statistics I saw lead me to beleive. Look at the St. Thomas Academy team page as well. I did a quick thing on Jordan Schroeder in the "Players to watch" section on him. That will tell you what I think of them... RESPECT. Why you included me in this is beyond me, and I guess I shouldn't be bothered by it, but for some reason, I am. How much time did you spend digging up all of those posts, anyway? Yes Puck Ranger, your point is well taken, I guess perhaps we can take things personally when directed our way. <br><br>I simply was trying to imply that maybe we should tone down the sometimes ridiculous trash talking before games that everyone has worked hard to get to. <br><br>The state tourney seems like the wrong venue for this "attitude" Save it for the regular season rivalry games, <br><br>VA's a great story and I thought their fan support and turn-out was incredible. Griswold - I see what you're trying to prove and I fully agree. I don't think it's the smartest thing to talk trash before the tourney. <br><br>However...<br><br>I do think that starting this thread and citing quotes from Virginia fans, especially fans in specific, is ungracious by itself. Is the point behind it true? Of course, but you don't need to rub it in their face.<br> They lost. Their predictions were wrong and most, if not all, will admit to that. They're heartbroken. Most realize that they shouldn't have said what they said and now you throw this right back in their face. Just returning the advice...STA fans also got caught up in the same excitement as Virginia. Beating an undefeated team? There's no problem with saying stuff like that that, it's team spirit. <br><br>I didn't even look through the "Warroad doesn't stand a chance" thread and here's what I came up with<br><br>metromick<br> *I think the comparative score method of prediction is indisputable, so I agree with Goldy and Slappy.<br>Therefore, since Warroad beat Richfield by 4 and STA beat Richfield by 5, STA will win in a breeze... by one.<br>Warroad looked like an average club.
