St Thomas was bigger, faster and overall a little better than Marshall. Actually if you took away Judd Peterson for Marshall, STA would have been much better. He is dynamic player but needs more help against better teams like STA. STA was more aggressive to the puck and carried the play most of the game. Two goals by Judd Peterson were great individual effort on his part. The overtime winning goal was not the kind you like to see win a game. A soft shot from the faceoff circle deflected off a skate or leg and floated in the air near the goal. The goalie turned to swipe it away and knocked it in the net himself. Otherwise he put up a nice effort. _________________ It's not the Best players, it's the Right players! HB |
