Greenway's Arnason's 71 Saves

Did I see that stat correctly? Could someone who saw the game confirm it? You gotta love high school hockey. Greenway beat Virginia 4-2.

I was there and it was actually 72 saves. It was probably some of the best goaltending in a long time. Greenway only had 14shots on net but won 4-2

Anything above 95% is outstanding over 97% on over 70 shots is insane. Great job!

He is a senior I believe.

The official stats were that he made 73 saves on 75 shots. Greenway had 25 shots on goal. The state record is 74 set by International Falls goalie Hjelle against Cloquet. I think that was around 2006. He is a senior.

I've see Arnason play a couple times and he looked like a very talented goalie, however he did seem to have plenty of mental lapses during the games. Obviously the kid has plenty of skill, so my question is does he have the chance to play anywhere after high school? NAHL possibly??

He has the chance to play at the next level and improve as a goalie. I got a chance to interview him the other day and he his a very good kid. I'm excited to see him against Ifalls next Thursday. My prediction greenway 3 Ifalls 1

Very talented goalie. I've seen it firsthand. He's a nice guy, too. Wasn't the record set by Alex Darsow last year with over 100?
