Not a good game for Mr. Marshall. Would be interesting to count how many turnover's he had this game. I think you would run out of fingers and toes.

Horrible turnover by Marshall! And not a great game by the defenseman! I thought the 3rd line had its moments. Haula's line played the best! And bjugstad's line ups and downs.

13-14 for the Gophers is no issue with any defects, they have offense-a-plenty coming in...

Rau - Haula - Warning
Cammaratta -Kloos- Guertler (this line will score alot)
Reilly (smaller)- Michaelson-Ambroz
Condon- Boyd- Parenteau/Serratore

All right, since some of you have given your view on next years line combinations, I guess I will give it a shot.

Since Haula has not signed yet, I am going to assume he comes back for the time being.

Condon - Haula - Reilly
Rau - Kloos - Cammarata
Warning - Boyd - Isackson
Serratore - Michaelson - Ambroz
Guertler - Letteri - Fasching

If Haula leaves, slide Boyd into the top line and move Michaelson up to the 3rd. Guertler or Fasching jump onto the 4th line.

Marshall - Holl
Alt - Parenteau
Reilly - Skjei
Brodzinski

If Haula stays (unlikely), there is no way Lettieri is coming in next year, and even if Haula goes, Lettieri still might be a year out -whether he comes in 2013 or 2014 depends on departures. Unless there's an unexpected departure, such as Condon, he's most likely in Lincoln for another year.

there is no way rau, kloos, and cammarta are a line...just sayin!

Insert Ambroz, Isaackson, or Fasching maybe. Lucia likes to have an enforcer (size) on each line, excluding the 4th maybe.
Bjugstad and Isaackson on the top line.
Budish on the second.
Ambroz on the third.

And that is why you put Alt and Parenteau on the back end, to protect the smurf line. Ambroz and Isackson would not be able to keep up with Kloos and Cammarata. Rau and his intensity would fit right in with those two.

I think you will see a very small gopher team up front next year. The guys leaving are much bigger than the guys coming in. Besides Ambroz, I really don't see any enforcers up front. And he isn't good enough to be in the top 6.

PLus, there is a reason why they are playing together this year in the USHL.

Better move Brodzinski up as it was announced several days ago that Mark Alt is leaving also.

I predict Connor Reilly will NOT be a 4th liner several games into the season, then will play on one of the top three lines the rest of the way.

Why would they bring in Guetler if he is only going to be a 4th line player? I think he has another yr of jr eligibility, so why waste a yr of very limted playing time, if he can play major minutes in jr?

Guertler could play 2 more years of juniors, he is a 95. That being said there is very little chance of that happening.

Couple years ago people though aj Michaelson was a slam dunk for the gophers. He spent lots of time on 4th line or healthy scratch. I might be wrong but I think it is far fetched that the gophers will have a line of all 5'9 kids. If it was me this is what I would do...

Warning - condon - rau
Kloos - isaackson - cammarta
????? - Boyd - ambroz
Serratore - Michaelson - fasching

You guys gotta understand that freshman don't always do so well their first season.

Sid Hartman mentioned 4 incoming freshmen in his column yesterday morning. Camarrata, Kloos, Lietteri and Nannne.

Does he know something the rest of us don't? Or, he knows nothing.
